Han Yu Tu, 13, known as Kelvin to all of his friends, died in an accidental fall while vacationing in Dali, China, on Aug. 18, 2014.
He was the son of Jing Si “Joyce” (Kong) Goshorn and Xing Tu. He was born October 16, 2000 in Guangzhou, China. He immigrated to the United States in June of 2012 and attended sixth and part of seventh grade at Scotts Valley Middle School, in Scotts Valley, Calif., before moving to East Troy in December 2013.
He would have been an eighth-grade student at East Troy Middle School.
He loved to snow ski and other winter activities, and especially loved his robotics class at ETMS.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather Floyd Goshorn, East Troy; father; and sister, Suki Chen, Guangzhou, China.
A memorial gathering will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Golden Dragon Restaurant, 2763 Main St., East Troy.
