Robert S. Bower, 85, of East Troy, died at home surrounded by family.
He went to reunite with his wife of 63 years, Shirley Bower, who died Jan. 9, 2014.
He worked for Quality Carriers Transport and Lloyd transportation for 35 years. Bob loved being surrounded by family and friends, watching NASCAR and his John Deere tractors. He had a thriving family produce farm for 55 years by the name of Bower’s Produce.
Survivors include his children, Shelley, Jody Reimer, Vicky (Larry) Feinstein, Bobby (Diana), Beth Dums, Chuck, Mert (Laura), Jack and Rick (Cindy); sisters, Caryl (Aaron) Sulsrud, Grace Adams, Marlene Markstad; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was further preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jim, Ben and Mert.
A visitation will be held on Sunday May 4, from 1-5 at Legacy Funeral Services. 2974 Main St., East Troy. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 5, at the First Congregational Church 2932 Union St., East Troy.
