Susan Marie Borre (Tetzlaff) of Palmyra, died March 30, 2014, at Rainbow Hospice,. Johnson Creek. She was born on May 25, 1944, to the late Antonia and Walter Tetzlaff of Dousman. She was the firstborn of her seven beloved brothers and sisters.
She married Alan Borre in 1985 and they started their family business, Woodland Repair Center. She made many special friendships with her customers, suppliers, employees and their families over the years.
She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Palmyra and was baptized by her “favorite” pastor, David Griffiths. She enjoyed music and fellowship with her church family. She loved nature, antiques, music, theater, spending time with her friends and family, and her special pets.
Survivors include her husband Alan; her “girls,” Amy (Mike) Hasselkus, Allison Borre, and Erin (Jason) Pruitt; grandchildren, Abbie, Annah, Alyse, Aidan, Maia, Isaac, and Evangeline; great-grandson, Owen; brothers Russ, Wally and Ken; and many nieces and nephews.
She was further preceded in death by siblings, Linda, Peggy, Richard and Brad.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 3, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Haase-Lockwood Funeral Home 320 W. Main Palmyra. Services will follow visitation.
