Kenneth E. Papcke, 87, of Delavan, died on March 28, 2014, at his home in Delavan, He was born April 4, 1927, in Cook County, Illinois, to Anna Papcke. He married Darlene Kuhnke on Sept. 24, 1960, in Elkhorn.
He was a mechanic during his working career until his retirement. Papcke was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Legion Post 0173 in Whitewater.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene, of Delavan; his two daughters, Donna Gallagher and Sheri (William) Gasch; four grandchildren, Jamie Gallagher, Brandon Papcke, Jason Papcke and Andrew Gasch; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother; a son, Michael; and a daughter, PennyJo.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on April 1, 2014 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan, with Deacon Bill Pelnar officiating.
