Joe W. Long III, 37, of Mukwonago and East Troy, went home to God after an accident. He was born to Debra Craig and Sonny Long.
He married Becky Rhode from East Troy and they were married for 17 wonderful years.
Joe loved fishing, helping others, and spending time with his family. He was a jack of all trades. He could fix anything.
He had a special fondness for children and they felt the same for him.
He is survived by his wife; children, Dylan age 17, Samantha age 15 and Jacob age 9; parents, five brothers, two sisters, grandparents, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers a fund has been set up at the Associated Bank for memorials. They can be made to the Rebecca Rhode Long Benefit.
Services are being planned for a later date.
Legacy Funeral Services, East Troy, is assisting the family.

Joe was a great guy and an amazing friend to many. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and all of the people who were lucky enough to know such an amazing person.
