Augusta Ciolino, 100, of Delavan, died Jan. 4, 2014, at Rosewood Manor in Delavan. She was born Dec. 19, 1913, in Bono, Ohio, to Eugene and Adela (Torrigina) Angeletti.
She married Sam Ciolino, who preceded in her in death on May 9, 1967.
She was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and worked in packaging for 25 years at Selarno Butter Cookie Co. in Chicago.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Vittal, of Chandler, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchild; her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Ciolino; one sister, Lydia Motto, of Florida; and one brother, Sam Angeletti, of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son Salvatore.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Jan. 15 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Delavan with the Rev. Jim Scheurman officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan. Burial will follow the service Jan. 15 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Ill.
