Richard Childers, 59, of East Troy, died Sunday Dec. 22, 2013, at Froedert Memorial Hospital, Wawautosa. He was born on June 30, 1954, in Petersburg, Va., to Richard and Frances Childers (Gardner).
He attended school in Willowich, Ohio.
He married Wendy (nee Wells) on Sept. 22, 1984, at Heaven City, Waukesha, where they had originally meet and lived. They had meet in Heaven, lived in Heaven and married in Heaven.
As a young man, he loved to race dirt bikes and during his life had a fondness for Indy car and motorcycle racing, wood working and a passion for fishing. Including the yearly trip to Canada with his fishing buddies.
Survivors include his wife; children; loving mother Fran of Ohio; and brother, Steve (Jill) of Florida. Other relatives and many friends also survive him.
A memorial service was held at Legacy Funeral Services.
