Myrtle Alida “Skip” Braun, 89, of Whitewater, died Sept. 23, 2013, at Hearthstone in Whitewater. She was born in Grafton, N.D., on Oct. 27, 1923, to Mikkel and Andrea (Lindelei) Motroen.
She married the late Robert Braun.
She worked as a registered nurse. She was a loving and extremely talented, and creative wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Tom (Eileen) Braun, Aurora, Ill., Stephanie (Bob)
Perl, Grand Rapids, Mich., Sandy (Bob) Karnopp, Bella Vista, Ark., and Linda (Chris) Hermsen, Bailey, Colo.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at 4:15 p.m. in the Fairhaven Chapel, Whitewater.
