Barbara Frances (Murphy) Flahive, born June 15, 1936, in Janesville. Our wife and mother passed away Sept. 9, 2013, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha.
She married her high school sweetheart Richard Flahive, Sr. on July 25, 1955.
She worked at St. Catherine’s Hospital for many years and was a member of Holy Cross Church in Bristol.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Michael (Patti), William (Karen), Richard (Lisa) Jr., John, Robert (Debbie) and Billy; daughter, Christine; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her long-time friends, Marcia, Rosina, Glenda, Joanne and the Miller family, who were thoughtful and kind to her, and whom she loved very much.
Funeral services were Sept. 14, at the Proko Funeral Home, Kenosha. Interment was private at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Cross Parish, Bristol, are suggested.
