Wayne V. Boss, 58, of Delavan, died Aug. 29, 2013, at his home in Delavan, with his loving family by his side. He was born Sept. 17, 1954, in Elkhorn, to Marvin and Jeanette (Graves) Boss.
He married Kathy Jansen Nov. 5, 1978, in Delavan. He attended Delavan-Darien High School, and was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Operatory Engineers Local 139. He enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, motorcycling and hanging out with his buddies.
Survivors include his wife; son, Craig; dog, and best friend, Ruby; parents, Marvin and Jeanette; brothers Dan (Cindy), and Tim (Sarah); and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister.
Services will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the American Legion Hall, 24 Market St., Delavan.
Monroe Funeral Home, Delavan, is assisting the family.
