Muriel Hoefert, 90, died June 20, 2013. She was born September 28, 1922, in Menasha, and adopted by the late Arnold and Rose Tauschek, of Manitowoc.
She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1941. She also graduated from Milwaukee College of Beauty Culture.
She married Arthur Hoefert, of Two Rivers, in Manitowoc.
She was a member of the Catholic Jr. League and Christian Mothers Society. In 1956, they moved to Kenosha where she was also a member of Christian Mothers Society. She became the culture Director for Catholic Youth Organization.
She worked as a hair and wig stylist. She later worked for eleven years at Sheridan Lanes nursery. She later moved to Delavan.
Survivors include sons, Allen (Mary), and Dean, both of Delavan; daughters, Sandra (Bill) Seitzinger, Arizona, and Rhonda, Delavan; a grandson; step-grandchildren; a great grandchild and 11 step-great grandchildren.
Muriel was further preceded in death by her husband, and son, Kurt.
