Alfred J. Derouin, 69, of Delavan, died June 29, 2013, at his home. He was born July 20, 1943, in Waterbury, Conn., to the late Theodore and Agatha (McGraith) Derouin Sr.
He married Dolores (Schabert) Derouin.
He spent his working career as a machinist at Swiss Tech in Delavan, and was a member of the American Legion, Men’s Bible Study and Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults at St. Andrews Catholic Church and the Bereavement Ministries. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivor include his wife; daughter, Amy (Mike) Scott, of the United Arab Emirates; grandson, Felix Scott, of the United Arab Emirates; brother, Theodore (Sandy); sisters, Dorothea Guerrera, Rose Theriault, and Geni Derouin, all of Waterbury, Conn.; sisters-in-law, Madeline Johnson Theif, of River Falls, Minn., Janice Schabert of Dickinson, N.D.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were July 3, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Delavan, with the Rev. James Schuerman officiating. Interment followed the service at St. Andrews Cemetery.
Monroe Funeral Home, Delavan, assisted the family.
