Evelyn Rose Runyon passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, Minn. She was the first child of George and Grace Proctor, born in Delavan on June 12, 1935.
She was married to Donald Runyon for 31 years. She was blessed with an extended family, including Donald’s children, Lori Ndolo, Lisa Di Placido, and Jeff Runyon.
Survivors include her children, Lori Anderson-Martinez and Robert Anderson; and siblings Joseph Proctor, Leroy Proctor, and Janet Rowe.
Evelyn worked for years at the Southern Gas Company in Lake Geneva and then transferred to the Elkhorn office. She was an active member of the East Delavan Baptist Church and Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay.
Her burial will be on July 9 at the Roselawn Memorial Garden in Lake Geneva, at 3 p.m. A potluck gathering will follow in the East Delavan Baptist church in Delavan, Wisconsin for all who wish to attend.
