Shirley M. Lauterbach, 85, of Delavan, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. She was born on May 17, 1927, in Elburn, Ill., to Fred and Agda (Nerothin) Kroll. Shirley was married to Henry Lauterbach on March 27, 1964, at the United Methodist Church in Delavan.
She was a secretary during her working career, a member of the Delavan United Methodist Church and once an avid golfer at Delbrook Golf Course in Delavan.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn, Palatine, Ill., and son, Paul (Rebecca) of Walworth; grandchildren Maggie and Sebastian; sisters Marion (Tom) Unti, Evelyn Negri and Janis Garberg, and brother, Fred Kroll. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry, and brother, Dick.
Services were held on Monday, May 20, at the Delavan United Methodist Church, 213 S. Second St., with the Rev. Stan Curtis officiating. Burial was at Roselawn Memory Gardens, 3045 State Road 36, Lake Geneva.
