Herbert “Larry” Lawrence Campbell, 79, of Earle, Ark., died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at his home after a short but courageous battle against pancreatic cancer.
He was a farm management consultant and thoroughly enjoyed gardening, hunting, helping others and improving the city of Earle. He had an ongoing love of knowledge, was an avid reader and was interested in many diverse topics.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Christen; three children Kriis (Val) Campbell Zeps, and their daughter Monika of Lexington, Ky., Keith ( Shelly) Campbell and their children Jake and Carly of Johnston, Iowa; and Kelly (George) Campbell Griffeth and their sons, Conner and Brian, of Scottsdale, AZ.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 18th at 11 a.m. at Millard Community Covenant Church, N6713 County Road O, Elkhorn, with the Rev. Lyle Heinitz officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Tibbets.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 7-8 p.m. at Hasse-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn.
