Ruth Ann (Fiedler) Christianson, 80, of Kirksville, Mo., passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
The daughter of Gilbert and Gladys (Gross) Fiedler, she was born Sept. 1, 1932 in West Allis, Wis. Ruth was united in marriage to Willard “Bill” Christianson and after 54 years he preceded her in death in November of 2004.
Ruth is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Willard G. and Rob E. and Cheryl Christianson; one granddaughter, Katie Christianson; one sister, LaVerne Sanblom; two nephews, Gregg (Chris) Darton and Garth (Lisa) Darton; and Joanne Christianson, as well as other relatives and friends.
The family started in East Troy, and enjoyed several years in Carrolton, Ga. Ruth and Bill moved to Punta Gorda Isles, Fla., in 1986. Ruth was an active Florida realtor since 1989. She also enjoyed golf, gardening and her swimming pool.
Private services will be held at a later date.
