Doris L. Henning, 92, Delavan, died March 14, 2013 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. She was born Dec. 31, 1920 in Elkhorn to the late Charles and Cornelia (Halversen) Larsen. Doris was united in marriage to Roland Henning on Nov. 7, 1942 in Lawton, Okla., and he preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1998.
Doris is survived by daughters, Ronna (Steve) Rawlins of Waunkee, Pamela (Elias) Casias of Taos, N.M., Shelly (Glenn) McCracken-Tio of Woodstock, Ill., Madelyn (Jim) Foyt of Lancaster, Jane (Duane Blackburn) of Lake Geneva; son, Roland (Heather) of Maple Grove, Minn.; grandchildren, Brian, Leda, Myah, Nathan, Taleah, Kate, Erin, Lacy, Ashley, Travis, Ross, Will, Josh, Preston, Marissa and Caden; great-grandchilden, Maelee, Mathias and Natalia and two great-grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by sisters; Ellen (Arthur) Redenius and Peggy DuCharme; brothers, Harry (Joyce) Larsen and Carl (Jan) Larsen. Nieces and nephews also survive. She was further preceded in death by brothers, Oscar and Lewis; sisters, Margaret Maverhofer and Grace Olson and brother-in-law Harry DuCharme.
Memorial services were March 16, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Delavan. The Rev. Edward Johnson officiated. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan assisted the family. Visit monroefh.com
