Lois G. Weeks, 62, Sharon, lost her three-year battle against cancer at her home Feb. 19. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
She was born Aug. 1, 1950 in Viroqua to the late Norman and Glyda (Olson) Geary. She married Charles Weeks Jan. 26, 1972 in Rockton, Ill.
She was the manager of employee benefits at Coltec Industries, Fairbanks Morse Engineering Division in Beloit for more than 20 years. She was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband Charles; sons, Patrick (Nicole), Milwaukee; Brace (Crystal) of Orfordville and Lucas of Sharon; grandchildren Fiona, Corwin, Brookelynn and Katelynn; brothers, Theodore (Patricia) Geary of South Carolina, William Geary of the Philippines; Wayne (Jackie) Geary of Rockford, Ill. and Dean (Deb) Geary of Union Grove and sister, Linda Alexander of Golconda, Ill. She was further preceded in death by her twin brother, Lars.
Funeral services were held Feb. 22 at Sharon United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ken Markley officiated. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery.
Toynton’s Sharon Funeral home assisted the family with arrangements.
