Gordon E. Esser, 80, Elkhorn, died Feb. 19 at Aurora Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn. He was born April 4, 1932 in Bloomington to the late Fred and Irene (Edwards) Esser. He was united in marriage to Leila Kinney on Nov. 21, 1951. He was a dry cleaner in the local area during his working career until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Leila, Elkhorn; daughters, Patti (Pat) Flynn, Walworth; Jackie (Dean) Babcock, Lake Geneva, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is further preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Fulton; sister and two brothers.
As per Gordon’s request, no services are planned.
