CHRISTINE S. OTTOW

Christine Sue Ottow (nee Kneiert), 45, of East Troy died on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 surrounded by her family.

Chris was born in Elkhorn on June 1, 1967 to James and Phyllis Kneiert (nee Western).

She was a lifelong resident of East Troy. She graduated from East Troy High School in 1985.

Chris was married to Douglas Ottow on Oct. 26, 1991. She was employed as a Customer Service Representative at MBM Food Corporation since 1993.

Chris loved her family and the simple things in life; crocheting, Loon Lake, “I Love Lucy,” puzzles, air shows, and taking long drives near Lake Michigan.  She was an avid fan of the Packers and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Chris is survived by her husband, Douglas; daughters, and best friend, Stacy McCauley and Jessica (Glenn Gellings); son, Jason; granddaughters, Brittani and JennaLu; grandsons Hunter and Gavin; parents, James and Phyllis; sister, Lisa Dragotta (Scott); sister-in-law, Debra Harrison (Steven); brother-in-law, Darrell Ottow Jr. (Christine); niece, Kimberly Dragotta; nephews and godson, Dustin Dragotta, Tim Bice and Derek Bice; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harley and Dorothy Kneiert (nee Cramp); Mendus and Marian Western (nee Emling); father and mother-in-law, Darrell and Lucille Ottow (nee Zarndtorff).

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 930 Main St. (County Road ES) Mukwonago, and from 10 a.m.  until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1 at the funeral home.
