Carol Jean Iding, age 75, of Whitewater passed away on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, Wis.
Carol was born on Oct. 6, 1937 in Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of Arthur and Louise (Kindness) Johnson.
Carol married John Iding on Sept. 20, 1968 in Dubuque, Iowa. John preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 2005.
Carol worked at IBM for 9 years. In 1992 she moved from Milwaukee to Whitewater. She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. She was a die-hard Packer, Brewers, and Badgers fan.
Surviving are her children, Karen Johnson, Whitewater, Edwin Iding, Whitewater, Dennis Iding, Waukesha, and Carolynn (Frank) Rowe, Whitewater; six grandchildren; sister, Betty Bailey, Whitewater; and brother, Roy (Carol) Johnson, New Mexico.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John.
Per Carol’s wishes no formal services will be held.

After a long, hard fought battle, I truly hope your now getting the rest you deserve and spending some quality time catching up with Dad. You were so brave and strong through the entire ordeal and, will always be an inspiration to so many who truly loved you. I could not be anymore proud of you Mom, you are and forever will be my superhero. I miss you so very much! Say hello to Dad for me!
