Darlene Mae Boness, 84, Delavan, died at Kindred Care Nursing Home in Burlington on Sunday, Jan 5, 2013. Darlene was born March 31, 1928 in Sharon to the late William Boness and Lulu Braun. She worked at the Delavan Hardware until it closed. She then worked at Sta-Rite Industries and worked until her retirement. She was a friend of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two brothers, Mel (Millie), Delavan and Don Boness, Phoenix; nephews, Randy, Jeff and Bill and nieces, Linda, Cathy and Betsy.
Memorial services are 11 a.m. Jan. 11 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 West Geneva St., Delavan, with the Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Burial will be at the Spring Grove Cemetery. A funeral luncheon and gathering with the family will follow in the Fellowship Hall at Our Redeemer.
