Lucille C. Witterholt, age 90, of Seymour, Wis., died on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour.
Lucy was born on Nov. 19, 1922 the daughter of the late Martin and Rose (Stahl) Witterholt.
Lucy loved to help out on the family farm where she worked very hard for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews on the farm as well. Later in life, she enjoyed playing bingo and all the recreational activities at Good Shepherd.
Cherished mother of Gerald (Joanne) Witterholt of Fremont; beloved grandmother of Brian of Fremont, Tod of Kaukauna, and Dean (Amber) of Tigerton; great-grandmother of Dalton, Isaiah, Brayden, BreeAnne, and Logan; dear sister of Rosella Houk; and sister-in-law of Dorothy Witterholt and Sylvia Witterholt. Lucy was loved and will be remembered by other relatives and friends.
Lucy was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence, Elmer, and Joseph, sister-in-law, Iola Witterholt and brother-in-law, Paul Houk.
A special “thank you” to Dorothy Witterholt and Paul and Sue Witterholt for always being there and taking such good care of Lucy.
A Funeral Service for Lucy will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Haase Lockwood Funeral Homes, 320 W. Main St., Palmyra, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. on Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home.
