Terry Maynard, 62, of Walworth went to be with the Lord at his home Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 after a courageous battle with ALS.
He was a beloved husband and father. He had a solid faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord. He loved running, camping, feeding birds, bee keeping and baked the best cakes ever. He was a machinist as Iseli Corporation in Walworth for 39 years. Whatever Terry did, he did with all his heart.
Terry is survived by his spouse Muriel (Munger) Maynard; daughter, Sarah Maynard of Delavan; sons, Joshua of Walworth, Chad of Savannah, Tenn. and Paul (Fentri) of Chicago; mother, Shirley of Vista, Calif.; sisters, Sandra (Gary) Lane of Darien, Wendy (Randy) of Vista, Calif., Debbie (Curt) Hibl of Delavan, Cindy (George) Gout of Walworth, Kathy (David) Smith of Walworth; brothers, Dennis (Marilyn) of Beloit, Randy (Bonnie) of Walworth; four grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Terry was preceded in death by his father Leonard and brother Gerald.
Services for Terry Maynard will be 11 a.m. Nov. 15 at Toynton Funeral Home in Walworth. Visitation will be Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Interment will be in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan. Memorials may be directed to the missions of Mt. Zion Church of Lake Geneva or to the Full Gospel Church of Walworth.
I am so sorry to hear of Terry’s passing. It has been a priviledge to pray for your family during this past season of your lives. May the Lord bring his peace to you all at this time. God is so faithful…Terry is now home with Jesus…no more suffering. He is in the best possible hands! Our hearts are with you, and we will continue to keep your family in our prayers. Much love, Mark and Wendy Smith
