Shirley “Mouse” Michals was the beloved mother of Jennifer (Tom) DiGioia; cherished grandmother of Christina and Jessica DiGioia; dear sister of Gene Alexander and stepsister of Tracy Alexander. She was the loving companion of her dog, Cha-Si.
Memorial visitation is at 9 a.m. on Nov. 17 until time of memorial service at 10 a.m., at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, Ill. Betzer Funeral Home is assisting the family.
A celebration of Mouse’s life will be held on Nov. 24 at 5 p.m. at Scoops Tavern, 2645 County Road O, Delavan, hosted by her dear friends who were her second family.
