Karla A. Hartzheim (nee Rudel) of East Troy passed away unexpectedly at her home on Nov. 11, 2012 at the age of 64.
She was the loving wife of Richard Hartzheim of 43 years. Loving mother of Michael (Tiffany) Hartzheim and James (Tracy) Hartzheim. Proud grammy of Matthew, Nicholas, Sean, Tyler, and Katelin. She is further survived by her sister, Melissa (Dennis) Hodik; a sister-in-law, Janet (Lee) Daniels, close relatives and many friends.
Karla loved being an instructor at MATC for 25 years, and volunteering to read to and mentor children at her grandchildren’s school. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the time of service at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral and Cremation Services, 930 Main St. (Highway ES), Mukwonago.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Children’s Hospital in memory of Karla were suggested.
