Dennis C. Buckel, 69, of Williams Bay died Nov. 6 at his home in Williams Bay. He was born Nov. 11, 1942 in Oak Park Ill. to George and Lorna (Zolla) Buckel. He was united in marriage to Diane Sorenson on July 4, 1964 in Oak Park, Ill. He was a member of the Chicago Fire Department serving on the Marine Unit, Air and Sea Rescue. He was later employed at Woodlawn Engineering in Addison, Ill. He was a member of the Rock County Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife Diane of Williams Bay; daughters, Deanna (Marty) Coomes of St. Charles, Ill., and Deidra (Glenn) Busch of Lake In The Hills, Ill.; son, Drake Buckel of Mason, Ohio; grandchildren, Lauren, Stephen, Jonathan, Riley, Connor, Rachel and Sarah; sisters, Diane (Jim) Reilly of Addison, Ill. and Daryl Buckel of Addison, Ill.; brother, Dean Buckel of Addison, Ill. and mother Lorna Buckel of Williams Bay. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. His father, George Buckel, precedes him in death
Funeral services were Nov. 10 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan. Entombment was at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva.
