Allan Arthur Shoemaker, 77, of Delavan died at Willowfield Nursing Home I Delavan Friday, Oct. 26, 2012. He was born June 11, 1934 in Waukesha to the late
Henry Shoemaker and Emma Leader. He married Dorie Merry Oct. 19, 1996 in Palmyra.
He was an over the road truck driver most of his working life.
He is survived by his wife, Dorie of Delavan; children, Brian Stout of Delavan, Lori (Robert) Jeters of Delavan and Kelly (Harold) Ellertson of Burlington; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Brother, Ron and sister, Ann, further preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the Betzer Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Peterson officiating.
Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time at the Betzer Funeral Home.
