Andrea L. “Annie” Thoma-Haney, age 48 of Jefferson, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012.
She was born on Sept. 25, 1964, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Earl and Virginia (Jones) Thoma.
She and Jeffery Haney have been together for 26 years, though they were married July 20, 2002.
Annie was employed at the University Wisconsin-Whitewater in the Registrar’s Office for 12 years.
She enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with her family. She had a real appreciation of nature and loved taking walks. Annie was a free spirit with a large heart, and she was always willing to help anyone in any way she could.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Jeff of Jefferson; daughter Shannon (KC Schultz) Haney of Milton; her grandson, Calvin Schultz; mother, Virginia Thoma of Madison; sister, Michelle (Robert) Thoma Gray of Edgerton; niece, Emily (James) Hansen of Edgerton; great-niece, Abigail Morgan; and great-nephew, Maximus Hansen.
She is preceded in death by her father Earl Thoma
Memorial services will be held at noon on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson with the Rev. David Timmerman officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
