Wava G. Visgar, 81, of Necedah, died Oct. 4, 2012 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born Oct. 8, 1930 to Donald and Letha (Nevel) Bailey in Richland County. She attended West Lima High School. On Dec. 24, 1956, she married Johnnie Visgar. Together, they resided in the Walworth area until moving to Necedah.
She worked for more than 20 years as an inspector for Iseli Company in Walworth. The Visgar household was always bustling with activity, and she enjoyed keeping the house tidy inside and out.
She and Johnnie enjoyed fishing together and getting up North to camp at the Tanglewood family cabin in Necedah. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be sadly missed by those that loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Johnnie Visgar of Necedah; three sons, Michael Brown of Burlington, Donnie (Peggy) Brown of Union Grove, David (Jan) Brown of Reeseville; four daughters, Cheryl Baker of Necedah, Wava (Jeff) Lazzeroni of Darien, Peggy (William) Brockwell of Necedah and Tammy Bolcerek of Sparta; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Miller of Fort Worth, Texas, and Donna Bailey and Shirley Brus, both of Fond Du Lac; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was further preceded in death by her son Johnnie Lavalle, a sister Judy Hatfield and a stepfather, Rennie Buroker.
A funeral service was held Oct. 9 at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home in Tomah. Burial was at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Cutler.
