Paul J. Bronenkant, 77, of Delavan, died Oct. 8, 2012, at Matthews of Pewaukee Nursing Home, Pewaukee. He was born Aug. 21, 1935, in Racine, to the late Louis and Hattie (Hedwig) Bronenkant.
He married Kathleen Woinowski on April 15, 1988 in Delavan.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a health care provider in the area until his retirement. He was also a member of the Delavan Elks Club.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Angel (Mark) Platzer, Racine; son, Alan (Julie), Racine; stepchildren, Brian (Heidi) Olson, Waukesha, Barbara (John) Hourigan, Oak Creek, and Kristin Fritz, Racine; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was further preceded in death by his brother, John.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday Oct. 12, at the Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave., Delavan. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home Friday. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Delavan.
