Arlene Honeycombe Peterson, 90, of Delavan died at Edgerton Care Center, Edgerton on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012. She was born July 29,1922 in Detroit to the late Charlie Honeycombe and Mary Jane Davies. She married Ernest T. Peterson on Sept. 30, 1946 in Woodstock, Ill.
She was a bookkeeper for Barker Lumber Company for many years. She was active in the Delavan United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by sons, Charlie (Patricia) Peterson of Waconia, Minn., Ernie Peterson of McFarland and daughter, Gayle (Don) Monroe of Beloit. Her five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive her.
Her husband and her brother, Richard, further precede her in death.
Funeral services were Oct. 9 at the Delavan United Methodist Church. The Rev. Stan Curtis officiating. Burial followed at the Spring Grove Cemetery.
Memorials to the church or the Alzheimer’s Association are suggested.
