Jack L. Berglin, 71, of Palmyra died unexpectedly Oct. 6, 2012 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 6, 1941 to the late Kenneth and Ida Mae (Bauerfiend) Berglin. He married Patricia Ann Walter on May 18, 1963 in Millard. She died Feb. 7, 2009.
He was self-employed and worked as a small engine technician. He was a member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church. He enjoyed snowmobiling, riding his ATV and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Palmyra Ridge Riders Snowmobile Club and Dusty Trails ATV Club, former member of the Palmyra Lions Club and Wisconsin Trout Growers Association.
He is survived by his two children, Julie (Andy) Peters of Elkhorn and Jim (Lisa) Berglin of Whitewater; two grandchildren, Joshua Peters and Alexandra Berglin; one brother, Lyle Berglin of Palmyra; and his loyal dog Macy.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Oct. 13 at Palmyra United Methodist Church, 122 N. Fifth St., with Pastor Karen Klatt officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services.
