Martha Jean Brever Lausted died Thursday, August 8, 2012, in a Kilgore nursing home in Texas.
She was born Oct. 10, 1938, in Lake Geneva, to the late Andrew Henry Brever and Helen Minnie Kresen Brever.
She married John B. Lausted, Oct. 9, 1965, at St. Killians Church in Lyons. He preceded her in death on March 19, 2010. They had moved to the Kilgore area in 2006.
She was a 1957 graduate of Lake Geneva High School and had attended Gateway Technical College.
Before moving to the Kilgore area, she had lived in Lake Geneva and Delavan.
Goodwill Industries employed her. She enjoyed the accordion and singing.
Brother James C. Brever further preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Helen Lausted-Folden of Whitehouse and a sister, Mary Oberton of Little Falls, Minn.
Services will be held at a later date.
