Lana L. Sullivan, 69, of Foley, Ala., formerly of Elkhorn, died Aug. 11, 2012 at Covenant Hospice in Pensacola, Fla.
She was born Feb. 27, 1943 in Elkhorn to the late Arthur and Grace (Larsen) Olson. She married Peter G. Sullivan in Des Moines, Iowa on Nov. 3, 1972.
She worked for many years in sales and marketing for various time-share resorts. She enjoyed singing and painting. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Peter; one daughter, Jill M. (Thomas) Chaze of Metairie, La; three step-children, George P. (Lynn) Sullivan of Grand Rapids, Mich., Margaret (Larry) Chandler of Collierville, Tenn., and Kathleen Sullivan of Granbury, Texas; five grandchildren, Emily Sullivan, Courtney Chandler, Lauren and Brooke Sams and Nathan Vicknair; one brother, Robert Olson of Elkhorn; three sisters, Patricia (Wally) Nemeth of Foley, Darcy (Bob Livingstone) Olson of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Beth Olson of Gulf Breeze, Fla.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn. Burial will be at Hazel Ridge Cemetery in Elkhorn. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services.
