They include Gala Night with a cupcake battle, Mother’s Day baskets
Studio 84 has a couple of fundraisers coming up with proceeds supporting arts programming services for people with disabilities.
The public is invited to join the studio virtually for its annual Gala Night – themed Spring ReLeaf – on Saturday, April 17. It’ll be free to attend, which it always been even when attendees gathered in person at past galas.
Gala Night’s online event will allow watchers to meet some of the studio’s artists and learn why they love art among other important tidbits. Gala attendees are also encouraged to shop for their favorite artist’s items during the event.
In conjunction with Gala Night, Studio 84 is hosting a Cupcake Battle fundraiser that will have bakers competing for the honor of the best-decorated and best tasting cupcakes, as voted on by the public.
Only 48 cupcakes tickets will be available and they sell for $20 and can be purchased online at studio84inc.org. Buyers will receive up to a dozen cupcakes, which they can pick up curbside in the back alleyway of Studio 84 from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 17.

Mother’s Day baskets
Members of the greater community are encouraged to honor their mom, grandma, or a woman who fills a special role in their life by purchasing a special gift basket from Studio 84 that will also help support people will disabilities.
Each gift basket will feature a specially designed mug (from several choices), a box of 10 notecards, chocolates, as well as a cupcake and cookie created just for the occasion by the SweetSpot Bakehouse in Whitewater.
Mother’s Day gift baskets – only 36 are available – can be ordered through Studio 84’s website for $30. For an additional donation in honor of the basket recipient, the studio will include a special card.
Curbside pickup of the gift baskets will be available from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 8 at Studio 84, 121 W Center St. in Whitewater.
Proceeds from Gala Night, the Cupcake Battle and the Mother’s Day gift baskets will all go to help support the art studio’s programming services for people with disabilities.
