It has been a family affair when it comes to the high school athletic careers of Dylan and Cooper Pease.
Because Dylan is a senior and graduates this Sunday, the just completed baseball season was the last time the two played together and were coached by their father, Jim.
“It will be a lot different without him (Dylan) next year, but there is nothing better than playing with him because we know what each other is thinking,” Cooper said. “We’re always on the same page.”
Dylan and Cooper, a junior, have been three-sport athletes, also suiting up for football and basketball together.
“We have played together forever, whether it was in the front yard playing basketball against each other or Wiffle ball and stuff,” Cooper said. “It wouldn’t be the same.”
The brothers say that playing together doesn’t really fuel any competition as much as it might with other siblings.
“We know each other in-side and out, so when we are working together we are working to be the best that we can be,” Cooper said.
