Foundation set to exceed $50K goal

The Whitewater Community Foundation’s first campaign has been a success, according to its director.

“Thank you to everyone who donated to the Whitewater Community Foundation during our first Annual Campaign. We reached our modest goal of $50,000, and the donations are still rolling in,” a press release from Brienne Diebolt-Brown, Whitewater Community Foundation Program Director, stated.

Contributions will help the Foundation continue the Community Action Grants, which help nonprofits in Whitewater “accomplish amazing projects that benefit us in numerous ways – through education, beautification, health and preservation.

“We believe that real change starts at the local level. And those of you who donated have shown that you believe this too,” the release stated.

Tax-deductible donations can be made until the end of the year by visiting the website at whitewatercommunityfoundation.org or by sending a check to: Whitewater Community Foundation, P.O. Box 428, Whitewater, WI 53190.
