In the grand finale to the 2015 season, members of the Whitewater High School Marching Band show off their pink while performing a concert Oct. 21 to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, whose mission is to “save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering others, ensuring quality care for all and investing in science to find the cures.” The band showcased the season’s program “Pure Imagination” and the high-energy musical numbers performed to energize Whippets fans at home football games. Band Director Abi Pulvermacher reported that more than $400 was raised in approximately three minutes during the concert. (Tom Ganser photo)
