The City of Whitewater will conduct leaf and yard waste collections the weeks of Nov. 3 and 10.
Yard waste must be in clear or semi-transparent bags and placed curbside. While supplies last, there are biobags available in the City Hall Finance Department.
Note that brush will not be collected during the yard waste collections. Residents may request brush collection pickup by calling (262) 473-0542 and making a Tuesday appointment.
Residents can also dispose of leaves, yard waste and brush at the city’s compost site between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays. The site will remain open until Nov. 29, weather permitting.
Depositing any type of yard waste debris on city streets or right-of-ways on days other than those designated for pickup is a violation of city ordinance.
