The Fall Early Literacy Classes begin soon at the Irvin L. Young Memorial Library. Registration is required and can be one in person or by phone.
Lapsit includes children from birth through 18 months and will meet Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for 30 minutes. Toddlers include children 18 months through 3 years of age and will meet on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. for 45 minutes. Preschoolers meet on Thursdays from 10 to 10:45 a.m. for children 3 to 5 years old.
This fall’s weekly themes are: the week of Oct. 6: Hello, Goodbye; Oct. 13: Autumn; Oct. 20: Pumpkins and Apples; Oct. 27: Halloween; Nov. 3: colors; Nov. 10: Counting; Nov. 17: Alphabet; Dec. 1: Winter; Dec. 8: Winter Animals; and December 15: Holidays. There will be no Early Literacy Classes the week of November 24.
