Land of the free

Students, parents, staff and members of the community recite the Pledge of Allegiance in the gymnasium at Lincoln Inquiry Charter School in Whitewater during the Star-Spangled Banner Bicentennial Celebration last Friday. The event featured speakers, special presentations by students including facts about, and the history of, the Star-Spangled Banner as well as music tributes performed by members of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Marching Band.
