Open House event set for Monday to wish her well
Miss Cathy (Bloom) has served Whitewater’s youth and their families since 1999 and said she has loved the time she’s worked at the library.
“I enjoyed every single day being here, working with families in Storytime, in the Summer Reading Programs and the many special events. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to enjoy it all,” she said.
Irvin L. Young Memorial Library’s Youth Services Librarian Cathy Bloom will be honored with an Open House in the library’s community room on Saturday, Aug. 23 from noon until 2:30 p.m. Cupcakes and beverages will be served.
The event is open to the public and members of the community of all ages are encouraged to stop by and wish Miss Cathy well on her retirement.
