The Friends of The Irvin L. Young Memorial Library in Whitewater will host a book sale Monday, Aug. 18 through Friday, Aug. 22.
The sale will feature only new and “gently read” books – many of which are suitable for gifts – that have been donated by patrons of the library.
“The Friends of the Library wishes to express its gratitude for these contributions to their sales, the proceeds from which are used to support the building program, purchase items for the library, and sponsor its adult and children’s programs,” a press release stated.
The hours for the book sale are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday.
