Members of St. John’s Whitewater/Palmyra Lodge will exchange their Masonic aprons for chefs’ aprons as members stay busy over the next week preparing for their Roast Beef Dinner with a goal of no one going away hungry.
The dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at the Masonic Temple, 226 W. Main St. in downtown Whitewater. Hungry patrons are invited to eat at the temple while enjoying the company of family and friends or place a carryout order and take it to go.
Included in the dinner will be: hearty helpings of “mouthwatering” roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, rolls, coffee and milk. And to top it off a variety of homemade cakes will be available.
Prices for the dinner are: $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 years old and younger. Carryouts will be available and tickets can be purchased from a Mason or at the door.
Parking is available on the west side of the lot adjacent to the Temple and also in the First Citizen’s State Bank lots, located across the street.
