The Seniors in the Park program is for adults ages 55 and older from Whitewater and surrounding areas. There are no fees required to join, nor is there a membership list.
Mixing It Up With Watercolor
Thursdays, April 3-May 1, 1-4 p.m.
This five-week watercolor session will focus on mixing colors and mixing water-media. Topics will include, mixing transparent watercolors, especially natural looking greens, and adding other water-media products, such as watercolor crayons, watercolor pencils, gesso, and gouache. Subject matter may include landscape, floral, still life, and/or semi-abstraction.
Beginning, intermediate and advanced concepts will be covered. The instructor is Karolyn Alexander Tscharnack.
The classes are held on Thursdays, April 3-May 1 from 1-4 p.m.
Cost: $50 – Deadline: Monday, March 31.
Janesville Shopping
Wednesday, April 2
Get picked up at your home and shop in Janesville. Participants decide where to shop. Pickup begins at 9 a.m.
Cost is $5 – reservations needed by Monday, March 31.
In June, August, and October shopping trips will take place at the Outlet Mall in Johnson Creek.
Foot Clinic
Tuesday, April 1, by appointment.
Have your toenails trimmed by an RN.
Cost: $15 – appointments must be made in advance.
Senior Golf League
The organizational meeting for the Seniors in the Park Recreational Golf League will be held at the Oak Ridge Golf Course on Bowers Lake Road in Milton on Monday, April 7, at 8:30 a.m. Golf will follow, weather permitting.
There is a membership fee of $6, and golfers (or spouse) must be 60 years of age as of April 7.
Tee times are at 8:30 a.m., flag prizes are awarded weekly, and there is a luncheon to conclude the season.

Line Dance Class
Wednesdays, April 16-May 21, 2-3 p.m.
Kick up your heels and have fun with line dance instructor Nancy Wrensch. She loves teaching all levels of students and making dancing fun.
The classes are held on Wednesdays, April 16-May 21 from 2-3 p.m. at the Downtown Armory Dance Studio.
Cost: $24 for school district residents and $30 for non-residents.

“Instrumental” Chicago Trip
