The lunchtime Savory Sounds Concert Series kicked off June 20 with a performance by guitarist and vocalist Nima Salami. Salami’s selections included classical, folk and Flamenco pieces and gave the concert an international flavor. The concert was sponsored by Fairhaven Senior Services and the food vendor was Subway. The next concert is June 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Birge Fountain in front of the Cultural Arts Center, 402 W. Main St., featuring a performance by the Looper’s Blues Duo. The concert is sponsored by Quiet Hut Sports and the food vendor is the SweetSpot.
