The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Cultural Affairs and Contemporary Issues department will present one of the most famous stories in romantic literature and one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays this week.
On Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. the beautifully funny, poignant and heart wrenching, production of “Cyrano de Bergerac” will be performed by the Aquila Theatre at UW-Whitewater’s Young Auditorium, 930 W. Main St.
Aquila Theatre will bring a modern spin to the classic, “The Taming of the Shrew,” at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at the Young Auditorium.
Sound bites, a free lecture/discussion, will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the main lobby prior to both shows. Desserts and beverages will be available for purchase.
