An initial appearance was adjourned until Monday, Dec. 23 for a Fontana man charged with selling cocaine near Reid Park.
Andrew J. Dudek, 18, was charged Nov. 27 in Walworth County Circuit Court with manufacturing or delivering cocaine near a park.
According to the criminal complaint, police conducted a controlled buy of cocaine from Dudek on April 30 at the Abbey Resort in Fontana, which is across the street from Reid Park.
A confidential informant got into a red Toyota in which Dudek was a passenger at the Abbey and purchased .98 grams of cocaine from Dudek, according to the complaint.
The informant and Dudek discussed the sale, which was arranged through Dudek’s Snapchat account, as well as other drugs Dudek was able to sell, the complaint states.
