The Chapel on the Hill is presenting “The Living Passion,” an uplifting musical rendition of Christ’s last week of life, crucifixion and resurrection.
The combination of music and story, which opened last night, will also be performed at the Chapel’s Christian Arts Centre tonight and tomorrow as well as March 23 to 25.
“The Living Passion,” written by Alan Atwood of Milwaukee, is complemented by Easter music including songs such as “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna,” “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us,” “Lamb of God” and “Arise My Love.”
The play is directed by Donna Badtke and features more than 30 actors – adults and children – from communities throughout the area.
The Christian Arts Centre is on Highway 50 three miles west of Lake Geneva at N2490 Cisco Road.
Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 3 p.m. All tickets are $10, but children 5 years old and younger are admitted free.
